We understand that even with careful planning, unexpected situations can arise. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds may be considered for our Cane Corso puppies. Please read carefully prior to adoption, as this policy represents one of the most trusted commitments we make to our families.


Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

We offer returns and possible refunds within 30 days of purchase under the following circumstances:

Change of Circumstance

If an adopter finds they are genuinely unable to provide proper care for their Cane Corso within the first 30 days, the puppy may be returned for a full refund, provided all return requirements are met.

Unforeseen Life Events

Serious events such as:

  • Job loss

  • Medical emergencies

  • Sudden relocation

  • Significant family hardship

may qualify for a full or partial refund, depending on the situation. Each case is reviewed individually with compassion and fairness.


Return Requirements

To ensure the continued health and safety of the puppy, the following conditions must be met:

  • The Cane Corso must be returned in good physical and emotional health, with no signs of abuse or neglect.

  • All original documentation must accompany the puppy, including:

    • Vaccination records

    • Health certificates

    • Registration papers (if applicable)

  • RivanI Cane Corso Haven reserves the right to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to final approval of the refund.


Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued under the following conditions:

  • Return requests made after 30 days from the date of purchase.

  • Puppies adopted under a discounted or special placement fee.

  • Health issues that develop due to poor care, improper feeding, or neglect after adoption.

  • Behavioral issues caused by lack of training or socialization.


How to Initiate a Return

  1. Notify RivanI Cane Corso Haven within 30 days of purchase.

  2. Provide a written explanation and any supporting documentation.

  3. Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

  4. If approved, the puppy must be returned safely and humanely.

  5. Refunds are processed within 5 business days after the puppy is received and cleared by veterinary evaluation.


Health Assurance & Breeder Support

At RivanI Cane Corso Haven, every puppy is:

  • Vet-checked before placement

  • Up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming

  • Raised in a clean, structured environment

  • Socialized for stable temperament

We also provide lifetime breeder support, meaning adopters may contact us at any time for guidance on training, nutrition, behavior, and care.


Our Ethical Commitment

We stand behind every Cane Corso we produce. Our priority is not profit, but the creation of strong, healthy, well-adjusted companions and guardians. If at any point in the dog’s life an owner can no longer care for them, we encourage returning the dog to us rather than surrendering to shelters.
